I've developed a Rite to Aphrodite, employing Her Orphic Hymn and words of power, secret names and a chant scoured from the PGM. I've got a little booklet with instructions, a preeliminary part of a bigger work, here:
All feedback is welcome! Especially if you decide to try it out personally.
I've been experimenting with the processes in your booklet, and I've really enjoyed it so far! I find she's responsive, and soon I'll be writing my own devotional works.
Jason Miller has these lines to the graces in his invocation for Venus, which I think might be useful to include?
Encircle me with your retinue of goddesses and Nymphs
Suadela, grant powers of persuasion
Flora, bring blossom to all my works
Auxesia, give growth to my kingdom
Carpo, provide plentiful harvest
Aglaia, endow me with beauty
Thalia, bring festivity and financial gain
Euphrosyne, bequeath cheer and joy and love
Do you find the effects long a while e.g. a couple days , from the entire ritual combined (2 Enochian calls + PGM) ?
I've used it for 2 main purposes: 1) to build a sense of closeness with my co workers and 2) to clear obstacles for a personal project I'm working on. The coworker one was way more successful, but isn't something I can really gauge in terms of longevity, since once people get along and like each other, it's not really likely to change. For the obstacles, I don't think that particular rite calls on the most appropriate powers for what I was trying to effect. Calling on the spirits of the heavens and land seem like they'd be better for personal empowerment, success, and general blessings, but not so much for my obstacles involving logistics and paperwork.
For anything using angels, I noticed they came much faster and were much easier to communicate with. For deities, some manifested much easier in the space, but told me they don't really "use" the spiritual light that comes through with it for "effect-force". They said that's not how they (the deity) will work on what I had in mind. I think it's still worth it to experiment, since I didn't find any negative effects from it, other than maybe less sleep if I did the rite later at night.
