There's a lot of talk about "grey man" philosophy in prepping circles, usually by wannabe operators and operator fanboys, but which is all about blending in, albeit without the esoteric component.

Something I do sometimes if I want something to remain unnoticed is throw a shadow over it. Misdirecting psychically can work as well if you can hold an image of something you want to direct attention towards. I've done this successfully by putting an object in one hand but making myself see it in the other. Other person almost always picks the empty hand. Not the same as invisibility, but a related skill I think.

Misdirection isn't invisibility but it about preventing something being seen which is related I think. Not sure how stage magicians do it, but I've used psychic/magical means with some success.

To make myself unseen I would most likely clear my head completely, focus all attention on my surroundings, and blend into it.

So, yes, read my above post where I mention my dream blanket. i think we use the same technique.

Very much the same or very similar, although when I throw a shadow over something else(not misdirecting) I think might be doing something different, but I used to do that long before I could enter such deep meditative states. I'm sure we are all drawing from the same pool of understanding, and it is very very old. I'm your typical alienated white mongrel with no recent ancestral knowledge to draw upon but I don't think that matters if you are willing to work at it.

What you said about animals is very true. They are exceptionally sensitive to all of this. My bird is extremely sensitive to my moods. If I'm anxious, he gets anxious too.
