Hi my name is is Ramon but I go by Ray usually irl. I am a 49 year old male with a BSc in chemistry from the University of Oregon. After a disastrous first year in my PhD program in Organic Chemistry at UW Madison, my career never took off after a very promising start while doing my undergraduate in Eugene, OR. I first arrived in Oregon in 1994 on Grateful Dead tour, so I was familiar with the hippie new age scene from the time Inwas a teen ager but I never really connected with that part of the alternative culture that abounds here in Eugene. I returned to Eugene after 15 years to reconnect with old friends and hopefully recapture some of the old “magic” I had felt here when I first came here many years ago, only to be deeply disappointed and shocked at the huge negative changes my Alma Mater and adopted home town had undergone. The last two years have resulted in a deep transformation of my views and understanding of the world— it is far stranger and more exciting than I had believed possible. The changes came about spontaneously and coincided with the solar Maximum, I have discovered abilities I never thought possible without even having looked for them. I am in the process of integrating my new found intuition and awakened senses. That is why I am joining this forum community.
