here's my technique in a nutshell.

get high on meditation. petition the spirits.

here's a technique I used to use

get high on meditation. go for a random wander walk while occasionally visualizing the thing that you want, kind of keep it on your mind.

I do shikantaza. That is (if you aren't familiar with the Zen Buddhist term), the formless meditation. Or Meditation without a seed (Raja Yoga) (Asamprajnata Dhyana). Aka Vipassana, more or less.

I used to do a lot of concentration meditation. Then I did both for a while (which was a bit too intense). Now I just do the shik.

It's a big thing in my life. It is power and mystery.

How about you?
I am style of meditation is observing how taught arises and changes and within moments they stop coming.

My meditations always are a flood of information. They are difficult for me, but well worth it. I’m never trying to “quiet” my mind because of how much Info get from them. I assumed this was the same from most people but now I’m seeing it’s literally different for everyone.

In the buddhism/yoga scene, and many others, we have 2 standard meditation techniques. They deliver somewhat standard results.

The Buddhists call them Samatha and Vipassana. The first is a kind of refined concentration. The second is another thing.

Mindfulness has proven to be quite positive for me.

Also, Kundalini Youga. Me nd some friends have a group and we share a group diary.

Any suggestions and advice will be truly appreciated!
I'd also say mindfulness is a great training aid you can do throughout the day. Simply keeping your mind on what you are doing in the present. Good one.

How long do you meditate per day?
