So I’m doing this technique from a book about dreamwalking and this is the very basic first steps of setting up a dreamworld and a portal and I’ve been doing this for maybe a month now. This happened Can anyone explain this to me, I had an experience where I was laying down and meditation but I was contruction this dream world or astral world in my head. As I’m towards the end of this experience I feel like something just took over or influenced/messed with me. I became aware of this weird tingling sensation all over my body and I was extremely disoriented and lost all sense of direction and was being shown images of me being thrown off my bed and falling. I’m trying to fight back but then it gets to intense that it doesn’t feel like images anymore but lived experience. Honestly very interesting experience a little scary tho.

Its pretty common in meditation to feel like you are moving or to begin to feel detatched from your body. The body can even disappear entirely. As your absorption deepens the mind becomes one pointed and can seem to fall into your object, letting everything else fade away. Strange sensations are normal and are largely just something to notice and move on from, not letting them distract from your object of concentration. The tingling feeling you saw appears when the breath and the mind become slow and collected, the breath may even disappear entirely and that tingling sensation can build into full body feelings of rapture and bliss.

All very normal, don't fight it just observe and let your mind be at ease.
